Ceren AYTAÇ - TUNCELİ
My aim in this project is to bring a breath of fresh air to our music and to pioneer the creation of a long-term choir infrastructure in our beautiful city and ensure its continuity.
Born in 1982 in Tunceli, he studied at Izmir Işılay Saygın Anatolian Fine Arts High School Music Department. In high school, she studied with Hakkı Kıvrak, İlknur Ünal, Oğuz Özcan, Adnan Atalay and received viola main instrument training. In high school, she worked as a chorist in the choir under the direction of educator Mustafa Bilge at Izmir State Opera. In Istanbul, she successfully completed Marmara University Atatürk Faculty of Education, Department of Music Education, Singing Department. At the university, she studied with Mari Barsamyan, Aytaç Rıza, Guliyeva Ova Sunder, Serkan Otacıoğlu, Özcan Özbek, Sarper Özsan. She worked as a chorist in the school choir conducted by Yücel Elmas between 2001-2005.
She has performed many piano concerts since her high school years. After university in 2010, he played music with the Serjiani Group in Vienna for 3 months. After returning home, she worked as a music teacher in many schools in Tunceli and gave private lessons. Since 2017, she has been working as a music teacher at Tunceli Municipality Culture Unit.
Sevil TEZEL - Gökçeada/ÇANAKKALE
We are all threads that are strung side by side in each round. No one is ahead of anyone, no one is above anyone. We are side by side...
A choir is made up of many human voices coming together, acting together is the most important element. I wanted to be in this project to experience this together.
Born in 1986 in Çanakkale. She started her music education at the age of 9 with piano education. In 2000, she entered Çanakkale Hüseyin Akif Terzioğlu Anatolian Fine Arts High School. She received her first violin training from Russian instructor Zaretta Urşanova and her first piano training from Gül Uyanık. She completed her undergraduate education at Süleyman Demirel University, Department of Music Education. She took part in various concerts under the Department of Fine Arts Education, Department of Music Education.
In 2009, she started her professional life and conducted orchestra, band, choir and basic music lessons in Bahçeşehir, Halkalı and Florya branches of Bilfen Educational Institutions. He participated in various concerts with Hakan Aysev and Eda-Metin Özülkü couple within the scope of school activities.
She gave piano and solfege education at ITU Bakırköy Ispirtohane Culture and Art Center. Our conductor, who is interested in Orff education, successfully completed the "Orff Meets Kodaly" International Orff Schulwerk-Hungary, International Orff-Schulwerk-Ukraine and Orff Courses held in Istanbul and received certificates. In 2018, she worked with children in need of Special Education at Ağrı Special Education Practice School, which was her first place of duty under the Ministry of National Education. Currently, she is still working as a music teacher at Çardak Secondary School in the central district of Çanakkale province.
Emel Funda ADALI - MARDİN
I am in this project to follow the process of culture formation, to develop environmental and universal awareness and to be happy together.
Born in 1984 in Ankara, she completed primary school at Mimar Kemal Primary School, then at Teğmen Kalmaz Secondary School, and then high school at Ankara Cumhuriyet Science High School. When she was in the third grade, she met the discovery of her voice thanks to her teacher Fahriye Polat and on this occasion, she entered the TRT Ankara Radio Polyphonic Children's Choir auditions.
Between 1992 and 1997, she continued as a chorister and soloist. In 2000 and 2002, she worked as a jazz and polyphonic chorister in Orpheon Chamber Choir. After graduating from high school, she started to study at Mersin University State Conservatory of Performing Arts Opera Singing Department. While she was in her third year at the university, she won the Chorus Artist exam opened by the State Opera and Ballet in Mersin and stepped into her professional art life. As a fourth year student, she had the right to study, language and work in Italy in this branch with the role of Lola in the play Cavallaria Rusticana (Peasant Honor) by the Italian Cultural Agency in Antalya. During her years in Italy, she studied voice with Antonio Marcenó and Vincenzo La Scola.
When she returned to Turkey in 2012, she worked as the conductor of Çankaya Municipality 1000 Children's Choir and took pedagogical formation and worked as a Music Teacher at Mektebim Fine Arts High School between 2014-2016. In July 2017, he was appointed as a Music Teacher and started to work in Mardin and he is still working at Mardin Fine Arts High School.
Serdar ALBAYRAK - Fındıklı/RİZE
I wanted to take part in this project, which was initiated for the survival of the languages that are about to disappear in our country, the cultures and melodies that live with those languages, in order to ensure the development of the culture in which I live, and at the same time to raise awareness about polyphonic music in the region. Another reason is that the Boğaziçi Jazz Choir and Masis Aram Gözbek are involved in this project.
Born in 1976 in Trabzon. He completed his primary, secondary and high school education in Fındıklı district of Rize. He completed his music education at Van Yüzüncü Yıl University Faculty of Education, Department of Music Teaching.
Since 1996, she has been performing professionally as a soloist. Since 2000, he has been working as a Music Teacher and after successfully completing the seminar opened by the Ministry of National Education, he continues as a B class jury member.
He is currently working as a music teacher at Pazar Science High School and is also the conductor of Fındıklı Municipality Women's Choir.
Gizem BAYRAKTAROĞLU - Fındıklı/RİZE

Born in 1989 in Pazar-Rize. After completing my primary and secondary school education in Ardeşen / Işıklı Town, he completed his high school education in Fındıklı High School. In 2010, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan University M.Y.O. He graduated from the Department of Tourism and Hotel Management.
Since 1995, she has been performing professionally as a soloist. She has been working as a chorist and assistant conductor in the Fındıklı Municipality Women's Choir since its establishment.
Sezgin SUNA - Antakya/HATAY
A choir is not just people coming together and singing collectively. It is a unity of voice-speech-volume-culture. Each chorister contributes something from himself/herself and also takes his/her share from the collective structure of the choir. In the choir, each of us sings by transforming our own voice into the single voice of a giant human being with the harmony of a rainbow.
Born in Sinop - Boyabat, he completed his primary and secondary education in Izmir. In 1986, she entered the Department of Music Education at 9 Eylül University Buca Faculty of Education. As a major singing student, she studied with Assist. Assoc. Prof. Gülcihan Özkan. She took harmony and counterpoint lessons from Adnan Atalay. Between 1987-1990, she worked with Walter Strauss as a chorist in the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Polyphonic Choir. In the same years, he worked with Caner Ruhselman in TRT Izmir Radio Polyphonic Youth Choir.
In 1990, he graduated and started teaching music at Kılıçaslan Secondary School in Aksaray province. In 1992, he won the lecturer exam and started to work in Hatay Mustafa Kemal University Faculty of Education, Department of Primary Education.
In 1993, he started his master's degree at Çukurova University Institute of Social Sciences, Department of Performing Arts and Singing. He studied "Singing" with Prof. Çavdar Hacıev, "Harmony" with Prof. Yalçın Yüreğir, "Accompaniment and Repertoire" with Assoc. Prof. Natalie Çanturişvili, and took "Voice Health and Protection" courses from Prof. Fikret Çetik. In 1998, he completed his master's degree with his thesis titled "Investigation of the Vocal Trainer's Studies on Voice Development in Voice Education" and received the title of "Science Specialist".
He gave concerts in many cities such as Antakya, Iskenderun, Adana, Mersin, Malatya, Izmir, Edirne, Denizli, Konya, Aksaray, Cyprus and Çanakkale. He participated in many radio and television programs. In 1993, with Sister Barbara Kallasch, who lives in Antakya, he started the "Mystical Music Ritual" held every year between June 28-30 on the occasion of the "Feast of St. Pierre". With this ritual, they still continue to perform the melodies of the Abrahamic religions living in Antakya with a polyphonic choir and orchestra. In 2000, he founded Mustafa Kemal University Folk Sciences Society and formed Turkish Folk Music, Folk Dances, Modern Dance and Rock Music Ensembles. With these ensembles, they participated in many festivals and competitions in Syria, Bulgaria, Germany and abroad.
In 2010, he founded the "Antakya Polyphonic Choir". This choir, which consists of music teachers, students and people working in various professions, continues to work with the aim of establishing the tradition of polyphonic vocal music in the life of the city. In 2011, Antakya and Samandağ Children's Choirs were established in 2012 and the mission of Antakya Polyphonic Choir is to spread the polyphonic choir culture in Antakya by popularizing it from the bottom to the top. In November 2015, he founded the Antakya Polyphonic Choirs Association (APKORD) and assumed its presidency. Today, under the roof of the association, 3 choirs, namely Children, Regularis-Youth and Chamber Choir, continue their work. In 2019, he founded Hatay Mustafa Kemal University Antakya State Conservatory Polyphonic Choir and increased the number of choirs he runs to four.
Natalia SOVUKSU - Antakya/HATAY

Born in Chisinau/Moldova. Her musical talent was recognized by her family and her environment at an early age and she started her primary education at the State School of Fine Arts, Piano Department, where she was accepted in 1978.
She received her first piano lessons from Olga Tikiach. Natalia came to the forefront by winning various piano competitions during her school years, and in the meantime, she was awarded the 'Best Interpreter' honorable mention in an inter-class competition with her successful interpretation of Bach and Tchaikovsky works despite her young age.
She continued her music education with piano lessons from Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tamara Kotova, polyphonic choir training and management from State Artist Oksana Filip, and harmony and singing lessons from Moldovan State Artist and Composer Prof. Dr. Teodeor Zguryanu at the Department of Music Pedagogy Specialization of the Academy of Fine Arts of Moldova. She conducted the world-famous Renaissance Choir in the Graduation Concert organized in the year she completed the Academy.
Natalia Sovuksu settled in Antakya/Hatay in 2000. She started to utilize her background in classical music by giving piano lessons.
Sovuksu also guided the students she gave piano education to ABRSM exams. In 2018, she has piano, violin and guitar students who are preparing for the exam together with other colleagues.
In 2015, she was one of the founders of Antakya Polyphonic Choirs Association. Under the umbrella of the association; Antakya Children's Choir, which has been working under the direction of Conductor Sezgin Suna since 2010, followed by Antakya Polyphonic Choir and Antakya Chamber Choir. Natalia Sovuksu is a chorister, conductor and piano accompanist of these choirs. She is also the conductor of the Junior Choir, which performs under the corporate identity of Doğa Kindergarten.
In 2015, she was one of the founders of Antakya Polyphonic Choirs Association. Oğuz ÜNLÜ - MARDİN
I am very happy to be involved in this process again within the choir culture. I want to take part in this project to realize my dream here and revive the real heritage of Midyat.
He was born in 1989 in Antalya. He started his music life in the 2nd grade of primary school in the school choir under the conductor of Faize Tügen. He successfully graduated from Eskişehir Anadolu University State Conservatory Opera Department. While at the university, he studied with Nilgün Akkerman, Mehlika Karadeniz, Cumhur Böler and Caner Akgün.
During his conservatory years, he performed in the operettas "Die Fladermaus" and "Czardas Furstin", with the school choir and in concerts with many artists.
Since 2016, he has been working as a music teacher at Vali Kemal Nehrozoğlu Secondary School in Midyat district of Mardin.
Ayberk Oğul Konca - İSTANBUL

He was born in 2000 in Bursa. He started his music education at Zeki Müren Fine Arts High School in 2014. In the 2017-2018 academic year, she graduated with honors and in the same year she graduated with honors from Ankara University of Music and Fine Arts, Department of Music Theory.
He had the opportunity to work and observe rehearsals with names such as Cemi'i Can Deliorman and İnci Özdil. Within the 3rd and 4th Walter Strauss Choral Conducting Master Class, he worked with Lorenzo Donati, Ragnar Rasmussen, Burak Onur Erdem and had the opportunity to conduct the State Polyphonic Choir. He worked as an assistant conductor in DMD Youth Choir for 2 years. In 2019, he studied Brahms' Ein Deutsches Requiem with Jan Schumacher at the workshop organized by Choralies in Vaison-la Romaine, France.
During his high school education, he took part as a chorist and cellist in many domestic and international concerts, especially the European Youth Choir in 2015 and the Balkan Orchestra in 2016. He took part as a chorist in MÜZED Muammer Sun Mixed Choir under the conductor of Atilla Çağdaş Değer and Jazzberry Tunes under the conductor of Yiğit Deniz.
In 2019, he started to work as an instructor and chorister in the choirs of MAGMA & Boğaziçi Jazz Choir Family, founded and art directed by Masis Aram Gözbek, and continues to be the conductor of the Ladino Choir established in Istanbul within the scope of the Voice of Cultures project.
